Amanda's Kitchen - Roasted Garlic
This week we will be preparing some delicious roasted garlic! Roasted garlic has a sweet, savory taste. My favorite thing is to mix this with fresh tomatoes and basil and put on top of a baguette, but you can use roasted garlic in almost any recipe!
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Cut off the top of the head of garlic, exposing a small part of each clove.
Wrap each head of garlic in a square of aluminum foil (I like mine individually wrapped) and place it on a baking sheet.
Drizzle tops with olive oil and a small amount of salt and pepper.
Close each piece of foil around heads of garlic.
Roast for 40 minutes, or until golden in color and soft.
Check back again with us next week for a mouthwatering Bruschetta recipe that will put this roasted garlic to good use! And don't forget, take a picture when you cook with #AmandasKitchen and let us see your masterpiece! See ya soon!
